A beautiful star for Magali and David Sulpice! The Villa de l’Etang Blanc has just been awarded its first star in the Michelin Guide.
It all began with a powerful idea – enhancing and working with locally sourced produce that has extremely low food mileage
The shopping is done the same morning directly from farmers and producers, in accordance with what each season offers. The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2019.
This Landes house is located in the heart of an extraordinary nature preserve. The site is home to squirrels, birds and frogs. Peace and quiet prevail even during high season. You’re warmly welcomed at the hotel, bed and breakfast style, “like being at home”.
Nature is in the spotlight here. Magali carefully chose wallpapers by renowned designers that evoke the surrounding landscape and opted for natural materials such as wood, cork and granite. Each room has its own personality.
From June to September, enjoy this charming bar-cabin hidden at the back of the wooded park, under a majestic oak with your feet in the water. For example, enjoy champagne from Maisons Henriot for an aperitif.
The villa is ideally located - in less than ten minutes you can reach the famous beaches of Seignosse, and the towns of Hossegor and Capbreton. The Vélodyssée bike trail can be reached in three minutes as well as the golf courses. Go for a walk in the forest or take a dip in the sea.
This story is first and foremost about a couple: Magali — Hotel Owner and David — Chef. They travelled around the world for six years (Reunion Island, England, China and Australia), a way to provide for themselves and planting the seeds that grew into an idea. Upon their return home to France in 2008, their project became a reality when they bought the villa and were joined by their two daughters who literally grew up at their workplace.
